We are, family friendly, working person friendly, elderly friendly, we take time to look after people with dementia, multiple illnesses, people who are frail, the newborn, small children, parents, carers, people with cancer, people who are approaching their end of their lives and need a hand to hold.
We understand illness is scary and people are anxious and we can all fall into depression. We try to help you stay healthy, help you to feel part of the community, stave off loneliness and lift your spirits.
We are friendly towards people who have addictions, need help to stop smoking or drinking, get fit, learn to move on, get jobs, find their place in the world. We are friendly to the young, elderly, middle-aged, straight, LGBT and everything in between.
We welcome feedback and learn from mistakes.
But we are not friendly to the people who shout and demand. The people who push into the queue. If we ask you to wait, it is because we are helping others. If we suggest you can help yourself it is because we see others who have done so and done well.
We are a part of your community and walk by your side during the difficult times. You make our job great.
