Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They specialise in caring for people with on going medical conditions. They are essential for helping you to live a healthy life and improve the way you live with your conditions.

They help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and carry out complex tests on your heart and lungs and do cervical smears. The practice nurses run the Birthday MOT clinics for long-term health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, vascular problems, and COPD.

They immunise the children on our list and organise the annual flu clinics.

Our two nurses have numerous qualifications. Irene has the RN Diploma in Nursing Studies, BSc (hons) in Professional Nursing Studies and is a trainee nurse mentor. Antonia, is an RGN with OHND and a BSc (hons) in Community Health.
