Sorry, we're currently closed. Please call NHS 111 or for minor ailments please visit a local pharmacy.
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability. At times we may be unable to help due to the demands of our NHS work.
Most insurance reports can be completed from your medical records. Occasionally some companies ask us to carry out a detailed medical examination. They will let you know if this is the case. Always make sure you have given us written consent to complete a report about your health. We treat your medical information with strict confidentiality and only pass it to others with your permission.
If you apply for a benefit (such as Personal Independence Payments, Attendance Allowance, a disabled driving badge) please do not ask us to fill in your initial application form. There is a misleading part on many of these forms where it asks for ‘someone who knows you best’ to describe how your disability affects you. This is for a friend or relative to complete. We are sent our own medical form to complete when your application has been submitted.
If you are having problems filling in an application form (they can be confusing) please contact Welfare Rights for help. They are specially trained to make sense of these forms. Phone 0161 342 3068.
